My brother got his check yesterday. I was wondering if anyone knows if it will come in today. Im from Spfld Mass and in need of cash. We both submitted our taxes at the same time.

It normally takes 6-8 weeks from the day the IRS recieved your return to get a check.
Only 10-14 days if you e-filed and requested direct deposit.

It all depends on HOW you filed. Only the omnipotent power most call GOD knows when your check will come. It could take up to two months from submission date to get a return check back. I e-filed mine and got it back in eight days, although I was told fourteen, so just be patient. Everyone will get what they deserve in the end.

i once received my state tax return the next year along with that years...so, really, who knows...but i efiled this year and had my returns back within a week
