I really wish that our government would take Kyoto seriously. Obviously, this weather we've been having should be a wake-up call.
However, relying on our Conservative government, Kyoto will never be addressed until it's too late.

Canada should ratify Kyoto. The USA needs more of Canada's businesses to move into our country to escape punitive taxation to fund a failing health care system and a political myth like Kyoto.

Ratifying Kyoto will mean huge changes to Canada. It wont be easy but if we don't do something drastic soon about our environment it will be too late.
Ever heard the saying "pay me now or pay me more later"?! That applies here.
