I finally met a guy that i like; and that doesn't happen very often. But a couple of days ago we exchange our cell numbers to keep in contact with each other. Well, we talk for a while and enjoyed the conversation. Well heard that word been getting arounding that he thinks we are dating but he has not ask me out yet. What would you do in my situation? How would you handle this?

WHY DON'T YOU ASK HIM???

Communicate and make things clear. Now you know that you have to be careful about what you say because it sounds like he takes things very literally. Some if you show in some attention, he automatically think something different than what you intended. By careful though. He could be a little crazy if he is saying this already, so straighten him up firmly, but gently.

Good luck

I'd advise you to stay reactive; rather than taking the initiative. It may seem old school, but it is still better and mean more if guy takes the initiative in the romance department.

Since you like him to, just make sure you react nicely and reciprocate so he feels the confidence to ask you out.

Depending on your age. "going out" or being "asked out" is kinda a thing of the past I think. IF you really like him then why does it matter. I would ask him straight out. See if he will ask you then. I realy likes you if he is telling people that you are going out. I would ask him, but don't read more into it then what you are.

I think you should just play it off and say something like
"I keep hearing a bunch of people saying that we go out...what do you think about that?"
And play off of what he says. If you can tell he isn't liking the situaton, just be like "I know, isn't that crazy?"

But if you really do like him, you should ask him if he'd like to go out sometime. Make the first move to show interest.

haha it depends if you WANT to date him... because if you do then why don't you just ask him about it? Just say you've heard people talking and you don't want to be the last to know you're dating ;) haha. or if you don't like the idea then you need to clear the air with that one too.

Ta;l to him and find out how he feels and see if he will get the hint to ask you out without you asking him or making him feel pressure

tell him that until you go on a few dates real dates then your not dating . tell him that if he wants to date you he has to ask.
if he runs off at that point forget him .
if he dates you and you like it then ok
