Since you asked this in the Computers & Internet // Software forum, I can only assume your room is messy because of huge amounts of software. Therefore, I recommend creating ISO images of all your discs and then throwing them out. :-P

clean it all & get things organized then keep it that way
don't let a big mess pile up in it & it will stay clean
