From a friend who obtained it from a famous diet Dr. Eat 6 cookies through out the day, along with 6 oz. fish or chicken, 2 cups veggies and a salad for dinner. Use diet for one month, & can expect a 15 lb. weight loss. I tried them & they're tasty but would add maybe a 1/2 cup of Spenda & more spices next time! They DO fill you up!! Can't vouch for weight loss yet but sounds like it will work!!!

2 1/4 cups chex multi-bran cereal
1 cup rolled oats
3/4 cup non-fat powdered milk
1/4 cup unprocessed wheat bran
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 large ripe banana, mashed
4 tablespoons salted butter, room temp
1/2 cup sugar
2 large eggs
7 large egg whites
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

Preheat oven to 375°.
Combine first 9 ingredients in large bowl, mix well with spoon. Blend banana, butter, sugar, eggs & vanilla at medium speed w/electric mixer till well incorporated. Add wet ingredients to dry, mix well & allow to stand for 5 minutes. Divide in half, then half again. Each portion makes 6 cookies. (I used an ice cream scoop to measure out the dough )
Bake for 12 minutes on cookie sheet or parchment paper. Cookies spread very little during baking. Allow to cool slightly & transfer to wire rack.

Diet cookies can often fool you because they may have the same or more calories than regular cookies! If you're looking for more punch to the calorie though, then choosing cookies with higher fiber and protein content will take care of that. The theorie is that more fiber and higher protein will keep you fuller longer, and when you're dieting, that's a good thing. You might want to consider going on the South Beach Diet web site and look at their cookies!

well these are very healthy and taste really good too. ENJOY.
They don't have a lot of the "bad" fats like butter.

3 ripe bananas
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup dates, pitted and chopped
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, mash the bananas. Stir in oats, dates, oil, and vanilla. Mix well, and allow to sit for 15 minutes. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until lightly brown.
