The Canadian Crown cannot force you to pay a parking ticket in Canada if you live in the United States. But here's the problem: Canadian Border Services will have a record of your unpaid ticket on file, so if you ever go back into Canada they can seize your vehicle unless you pay the fine on the spot, and they can also deny you entry into Canada even if you pay the fine. BOTTOM LINE: If you think there will ever be a chance that you will want to go back to Canada, you should pay the fine.

Penny Hill isn't extremely top. There are some Canadian provinces that are plugged into the multi-state reporting device that some American states have and in such circumstances failure to pay an Ontarioan value ticket will look on American records and bring about license termination. even in the adventure that your state isn't component of the device you should be arrested while lower back in Ontario -- Canadian police do no longer prefer in all probability reason to examine registration code numbers.

Well lets put it this way are you honest or not? If I were in your country and broke the law I would feel an obligation to your country to pay restitution or at least plead my case. What you will be telling us if you don't pay the fine is that You as a citizen of the USA do not have any obligations to follow our laws so in essence you are above our law. If you don't mind that kind of self centered or American centered thinking then don't Travel the world dose not need to know how much better you are than they are. I am a Canadian and proud of it respect us and pay the fine.

Not if don't intend to ever go back to Canada in that car. If you do and they catch you, after the ticket is in default judgement they'll impound your car just like here.
