I'd love to be able to feed myself, my three year old and my husband really healthy home-cooked meals but I SERIOUSLY don't have a minute to spare. I'm putting myself through school, while holding a full-time job, and my husband works ALOT so he is just as busy. Are there prepackaged foods or easy foods that I can stick in the microwave or oven? I'm looking for one's that are just as healthy as home cooked meals but not sure if they exist.

You can get some pretty decent prepackaged options at most health food stores. Amys is a company that makes alot of vegetarian meals, pot pies, etc. Really good stuff. Here is a link to their website. I eat very healthy too, and am fortunate enough to be able to cook it all from scratch. But, congrats to you for making an effort....your family will likely thrive by making some changes Here is the link

Quit school for a start if you're putting your job and your school above the well-being of your family.
Microwaveable, packaged foods are loaded with chemicals, artificial flavorings, sugars, etc. A child needs healthy, basic, fresh foods- not things out of a box every night.
Get a crockpot. Add chopped fresh vegetables and meat (which can be frozen) and let it cook all day. Spend 2 hours on the weekend preparing foods for the week: boiled eggs, big bowls of salad, cleaned vegetables, meats taken out of the package and divided into dinner portions. Cook a pot of beans, a big pot of rice-- these are things you can microwave each night.

A cup of cheerios is a filling, healthy snack with only 100 calories. I usually bring 2 cups of similarly healthy cereal with me to work each day to stave off the munchies. I drink 8 cups of water per day. And I eat whole wheat peanut butter sandwiches with one tbsp. of peanut butter. Also, I like that protein water from special K. If you eat like this every day, you can have about 900 calories at dinner and still lose weight.
