i wrote this poem for my mother because i'm 18 and think i'm in love but she doesnt wanna have nothing to do with me because i think i foun love
Give me time to grow.



They say that you learn from your mistakes.
So let me learn
Neglecting me, making me feel less of a woman
Because I still have time to grow
Have I did something that you have never done at my age
So tell me why yall making it seem like I’m wrong
I’m wrong because I think I found someone
It may not be love but let me learn on my own
Tell me you never fell in love before
So why am I so wrong for fallen
You learned from past experienced so give me time to learn from mine
I’m becoming a young adult
I’m slowly learning how things work
So, how can I grow up
If you won’t let me
With relationship comes heart breaks
So how will I know how to mend a broken heart if I never knew what it felt like
I’m smart I know how to make the right decisions
Just hold my hand along the way
Don’t tell me you don’t wont nothing to do with me anymore
Because I think I’ve found my mate
If he’s not the one than that I will have to learn
But I’m doing what every girl must go through to enter into adult hood
We have crushs
We lust
We think we love
And in the end we learn
But every experience
Is a life’s lessons
So let me learn
How can I confide in you
If all you do is hurt my feelings
And say I ain’t worth nothing
Sorry if I made you feel bad
But you hurt my pride
We all have to learn from our mistakes and have our own lessons in life
So that one day we to can become wise

Nice poem.
Take it slow with your guy. There is no rush, you have lots of time to get to know each other. I am in my 20's and know a few people who are divorced already, and they are my age.
