hello mam,
i do not know why do you want to end your and mr X relation but here is a few way , by the way i know better how to join relation than breaking them any ways i will not waste much of u r time here you are :-
1. if you do not have a good reason , then tell him to move on in life with out you . tell him that maybe you both are better off without each other . and shoul leade different life .
2 . if he has some bad habbits , tell him you are not intreasted in him any more , and may be better off with some one different than him ( certain times we should not point the fault of others for what we leave them , but certain times we must tell them the truth for ther betterment so that the history does not repeat it self and does not heart them the most)
3 . if you are no more intreasted in him tell him clearly when out for breakfast or lunch or tea or dinnie , i prefer lunch .
what ever the thing is be careful , do not be harsh , but be ordergiving and loving do not hesitate at any time best off luck .
please note where ever you tell should be in a public place for safety reasons .

There is no time like the present to give good/bad news. Just tell him straight he deserves that much and then your obligation is over.
