Dodgeman hit the nail on the head. The Thermo windows help keep in the heat if cold outside and keeps it cooler inside if it is hot outside. Most campgrounds include electricity, but they don't include the propane you need to power your heater. If you camp in cooler weather, the thermo windows can save fuel, and keep your camper warmer. If a campground does not have electric hookups, then you will be using a generator, and the thermo windows will save on that too. Most campers are not insulated real well so the windows will help. When your windows sweat, it can cause rust and also get inside the walls...and can do a good deal of damage to the frame inside the walls. The thermo window will keep the resale value up and probably pay for themselves in the long run.

If it is going to be used in a cold environment, then the windows would be worthwhile. They should be part of a package with added insulation to be most effective. As for the windows sweating, that is due to high humidity inside the vehicle. You could either buy a dehumidifier, or run your A/C to bring the humidity down.

You want the upgrade, when your camping and its real hot, you dont want water running off the windows ruining stuff and you want that BOX well insulated so it will be climate controlled easier.
