I wonder how can I say to some one I'm cattng with that " I got to go"

Well ,it's right that " Je dois partir" is quite formal but it's used also in chatting !
you can also use these expression:
Je te laisse maintenant./Je dois quitter/Je dois m'en aller maintenant./je dois y aller
Add to each one of the previous ones one of those:
*à bientôt "see you soon"
*Au revoir "like see you ,untill we meet"
*à la prochaine " till the next time"
*à plus tard " "see you later"

You can say " je dois y aller, A+"

A+ stands for a plus tard, kind of a "see you", so the other person knows you will be back.

"Je dois partir" is a formal way. I think you want the popular way (like the Italian CIAO) so wait up and someone will tell you ...
