Very much so!! Try and make sure that the bread doesn't say enriched on it. Sometimes what we think is wheat bread isn't as healthy as what we think. Enriched means they take a bunch of the good stuff out and replace some vitamins.

Yes, peanut butter has lots of protein for brain growth and energy, and wheat bread contains many healthy ingredients for digestion. It is a very healthy main lunch food for growing toddlers.

As long as there are no peanut allergies. I use any type of peanut butter and all fruit spread. I also love sliced bananas or thinly sliced apples with my peanut butter. Typical jelly has a lot of sugar in it, so I would stick with all fruit or a something similar. Pair all of that with a glass of milk and you will be golden.

Yes. it is quick and easy...give them some milk and some fruit and they will be good to go. The best fruit is a banana or if you don't do a pbj sandwich do a pbb (peanut butter and sliced banana) it sounds gross but it is actually good and if the child is hyper it calms them down.

Yes, but go easy on the jelly (has lots of sugar) and try to use "natural" peanut butter (Skippy's has one now - brown lid to the container) - no trans fat, and I think it has less sugar. My daughter didn't even notice when I switched. You can also try her with peanut butter on celery - just use the whole stalk and spread the peanut butter inside. Sounds funny, but I ate it as a kid, and I was fairly picky.

Totally fine and good for a 2 1/2 year old, and they usually love it too. Try serving some cut up banana or strawberry (some fruit) and pudding ... kids love this stuff and it's good for them.
