Tell him he has nothing to worry about. He obviously is a little jealous and is insecure.
What you have to do - if you want to keep your relationship - is INTRODUCE him to your friends that you are hugging. What message this sends to him is that you have nothing to hide.
Now, if you're not doing that - he'll be suspicious.

Grow up. Someone who wants to be/act mature doesn't go around hugging other men when they have a steady boyfriend. It's not only a matter of respect for your partner but for yourself. It's very easy to get a reputation if you overdo just about anything... even an innocent hug. Are they truly innocent? Or do they last for more than a sec.? Are they full body hugs?
Tell your bf that you will refrain from hugging but that you have many friends... some of them boys... and it's just a form of greeting... unless you are giving him good reason to feel the way he does about your interaction with other boys.

Yah, my man does the same thing. I told him "at first it was flattering that you would get upset when another man touched me, but now it's just getting ridiculous. You have to trust me when it comes down to other guys, it's just innocent hugs and talking. Nothing to get all angry about." So, now he's alright with it, he totally trusts me, all you have to do is look him in the eye and tell him the truth and how it really is... innocents.

you should juss be real with him i mean i have a controlling boyfriend and he hates when i tell him he is to controlling but it's the truth he juss is so what i do is i'll talk to him about it and tell him that it's starting to be a problem you either straighten up or i'm leaving but try to talk to him first and if that doesn't work then leave because he's gonna continue to do the same thing so talk to him or hit the road

well in a way i see where both of u r comin from. you probaly like the attention from other boys and deserve the chance to flirt. he probaly feels like hes being ignored. so flirt with other boys and then in front of them kiss your boyfriend. make your boyfriend feel speccial in front of those other boys. it will make him satisfied without putting him in control. Intorducing him to those other boys as your boyfriend will really do the trick.
