Sometimes one child is more behaved or more helpful than the others are. This tends to make you rely and favor them more. Every one has a different personality and each person gets along with others differently in all aspects of life. You can love all your children very much but still have a favorite. It is when you show your favoritism that it becomes wrong and hurtful to the others.♪

Is it really favoritism or is one child more needy? I had two daughters. One was healthy and one had diabetes at age 11 yrs. old. The healthy child always thought the older sister with diabetes was shown favoritism. The older daughter with diabetes took a lot more of my time than the healthy daughter. Did I love one more than the other? No. They are both very special daughters and I never intended to favor one more than the other.

Its not right for parents to have favortism! A way a child can make their parents proud is to live a good moral life. But even when kids fail, a parent should never show they love someone else more.

NOOO!Parents should love their children in the same way, and all of them in an equal way. I have a sister and I never felt I was my parents' favorite or that they love her more. They always told us they make no difference between us.

No! Parents should not have favorites. They may relate to certain children easier, but they should treat the kids equally.

Dude, everyone has favorites, like if you have brothers you love them all the same but you dont like them the same. You might want to be with your older one more cause he's mature, and not your younger. etc...

no it isn't right but it happens. sometimes a parent grows closer to one child just by sharing common things with them this doesn't mean they don't love them equally. it may just be that shared interest that makes them closer.
