ok, my bf is really into trucks and auto parts and stuff like that......i wanna learn about the stuff he talks about so i can join in on the conversation and to FREAK HIM OUT that i actually know the stuff,,,,,,,is there any website or any other advice u can give me to pick up on the stuff.......i just want him to be like WHOA how did u know that!!! I know a bit about automotive repair and do lots of the work on my vehicle. When I buy a vehicle I aways buy the repair manual for that vehicle. After years of learning from my dad and other things I have learned the most from the auto repair manuals. You can get them at Autozone or any other parts dealer. They are usually around $13.00 and I would recommend getting one for a chevy cavalier, if not that one then at least an American make to start with. Ford, Cheverolet,GMC and Dodge are good choices.
There are many ways but I think this is one of the best.

I'm not a guy but I have been there. One thing is buy some car mags. They have lots of articles and thing. You can buyt some specifically about trucks if that is what he is most into.
