Betting on sports can usually work out to your benefit too, if you follow the sport and know the team's strengths and weaknesses.
Read up as much as you can on different games. The casino already knows their odds and that they're going to get rich. The more you know, the better chance you might have.

Certain Deuces Wild video poker machines have odds in the player's favor. You have to know which machine to choose (it has to do with the pay scale for wins, not all machines are alike), and you have to "play perfectly," meaning you have to know which cards the odds would have you hold each hand. You will still lose some, but over time (years, not hours), the odds are you will come out ahead.

Poker!, because you're against other players not the house. A rake is taking by the casinos of course, but if you are a skill player, the best odds of winning are there at the poker table.
