I wish there was. Sorry, at least he tries not to smoke around you, that's something. Really you need to start working on him smoking outside before that baby comes. Even if he smokes in another room or when the baby isn't there, there is still enough harmful toxins in the air and on your furniture to bother the baby. Convince him to quit now, or take it outside!!! Good luck. Hey, another idea, take him to a doctor's appointment with you and ask the doc the effects of his smoking in the house now and when the baby comes. Maybe hearing it from someone else will make a difference!

Leave or endure harm to your child.
That's all you personally can do.
Whether or not he quits doing it in your presence is also his choice.
Bringing a third party in, like a man of the law may persuade him, but know that it's more likely to cause more problems.
Have you asked your husband to cease his smoking in your presence? If he has not ceased, he loves his smoke more than he loves you and he loves his smoke more than he loves your child.
and that's the truth of the matter. Knowing that, you must act now to protect your child.

There's no law unfortantly. Maybe you could take him with you to the next doctor's appointment and have your doctor speak to him about the dangers of smoking around pregnant women AND children. It's so dangerous. The child could really have problems.

No law...he obviously doesn't care about you or his unborn baby. Find some material on second hand smoke, and the effects it has on an unborn fetus...leave it out for him to read.

wow, that's horrible! flush his cigarettes down the toilet. ok, seriously, get the doctor to explain it to him and give him a looooong lecture. that'll embarass him and teach him a lesson. who knows, maybe he'll quit, too. good luck and congrats on your baby!
