When geneticists are able to make human beings without all the flaws built in to us, redesign the eye, redirect the vas deferens, correct for bipedal gait and improve immune system will religious people admit that mankind are now superior in intellectual ability to God? If not, why not? Does it make sense to worship someone who is less intelligent than yourself?

God created us in His own image and our minds have evolved in time which can only mean that God is able to do all we can and much more as discovering our abilities points out. Creation is still a hard concept for our minds to understand yet God made it happen with a simple...let there be. The simplicity of it is beyond understanding because we believe the more complicated a process the more worthy and deserving of belief it is. The simplest ideas always work best from my own experience and sometimes we miss what is right under our noses because we are searching for a profound answer worthy a profound question (in our view). Nothing is profound to God. It is all relative and as easy as ABC.

That would not, by any means, make people "better than God." Since God is, by Christian definition, perfect and infallible, and people are not (they can still make mistakes, flawed choices, commit evil acts, get diseases because viruses adapt too, be damaged and killed, etc. ad nauseum), there is no way Christians would believe they are worshipping something "less intelligent."

Incidentally, I am not a Christian, but I do study it extensively.

he is above all. people study for their intellectual abilities god already konws all. he gave us a mind to learn. it is all a test to see what we can do. We will never, could never alter human geneticists that could make us without any flaws that whole world would stop meaning no more police no more hospitals. alot of jobs will termate. it could never really happen, God could but he konws all thats why we are how we are

That is part of the play. It is part of the game that we improve ourselves...it does not show less intelligence for having the current design we have.

We may improve ourselves, but we still can't surpass God. How can you surpass the infinite?

Why does man's progress in medicine mean God is inadequate? He gave us our intelligence in the first place. we have quite a way to go if we are ever able to do the things you stated. Without His help we never will.

i don't know you, but i think my body was made flawless, and i like it the way it is, and so does my gf, jeje, anyway, i comprehend your situation, a ungrateful person like you, who thinks hes body and everything he has its not worthy, has no reason to thank nobody, and the reason the believers believe in God its because they owe him all they have, who thinks that what he has belongs to him, he needs no God.

And, so it haves no God, he thinks he comes evolved from monkeys so it is an animal :P

I think that's one of the fundamental reasons so many of them are opposed to genetic research.

The argument will of course be that all such research was divinely inspired.
