Who said Tim Hardaway was a christian?
And if he is......that's a bad example. I hate the gay lifestyle...I am totally against it.....I do not hate the person. In fact, I pray for the person.
Homosexuality is wrong......but saying you hate anyone is just as wrong.

I always love it and find it amusing when people try to equate intolerance with hate. Not speaking for Tim Hardaway's comments, but I do find that amusing that people are assuming and trying to make a connection between what He said and His religious views. So we have two assumptions here. One is that Tim Hardaway is a Christian and that his personal views towards homosexuals stems from that Christian background and the second is that because Christians do not tolerate certain things that go on they automatically hate whoever commits an action contrary to their beliefs...in other words as I said before, intolerance equals hate.
The reality is that if someone steals, lies, commits adultery or murder, etc., the Christian can make a (righteous) moral judgment and say that the actions were morally wrong, and that these sins will have eternal consequences. Chuck Colson said, "True tolerance is not a total lack of judgment. It’s knowing what should be tolerated—and refusing to tolerate that which shouldn’t." Even a non-Christian is not above being intolerant. Are you saying that you have never condemned someone's actions or beliefs that are contrary to your own?

Do you hate anyone? Do you hate Tim Hardaway? Christians should not be tolerant of all things. Are you tolerant of Hardaways views? I detect a little intolerance in your question. Get the beam out of your eye.

STOP WITH THE STUPID GENERALIZATIONS.
Hate has nothing to do with the Christian Religion than any other group of people.
Christians generally hate the sin, love the person. This is what everyone has been taught. Unfortunelty Gays epecially can not understand that concept because they cant separate themsleves from the action (sin) that we hate. So it always comes to Christians hate homosexuals.. not true its the man lying with another man that is the abomination and sin.

i think of he's entitled to his opinion, yet he could be waiting to handle the implications exceedingly considering the fact that he's a public parent. I ensue to be a republican, and that i think of his comments are incorrect, yet they are his evaluations, i'm advantageous I truthfully have evaluations he would disagree with. I additionally sort of pity him, and those with that physique of concepts. that's quite a small individual, who only looks at a individual for what they do no longer look to be who they are. the international is crammed with super human beings, to dislike some one because of the fact they are gay or of a diverse race or from a diverse place is only incorrect. Shoot... if it wasn't for my gay pals, i can quite say my existence would be lots much less interesting.

there are a few sections of the bible that are wise, the rest of it is garbage passed down from mythology. All Christians are pagans same with catholics they are pagans too, because the basis of their religion came from paganism , long ago their leaders took that religion and morphed it into what it is today, one big lie. Scholars have looked back into ancient religions and found that they have the same stories with people or beings of different names, every religion without jesus has the flood story, and many others. religion is the biggest mind warping thing you can do to yourself your better off smoking crack every sunday than going to church because either way your brain will be fried.

Unless the Bible expressly says "hate all gays" then no, the Bible is not behind it. Organized religion and a sprinkle of black youth culture is. "Once you get the money, you get the power, when you get the power, you get the women". Gay men are seen as weak and anchors to young black manliness and sense of self.

I read nothing in the Bible that says we should have hate and intolerance. There is a difference between accepting a person and their behavior. You can love, nurture and help a person, yet still disagree with their actions and behaviors.

Nope. The bible does not support his hate for gays. Most black men are homophobic....yet, black men are known to be on the DL and giving their female lovers diseases because of it. The bible is against homosexuality, but overall the message of each book is love, understanding, and tolerance.

Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
