What it mean when sb ask a question and the other person answers long or short?

It means someone was just saying "yes" for the points

It means someone just has a comment but has little to add beyond that.

It means someone is good at cut n pasting. A lot of the long ones are obviously just cut n pastes. You read them and find things that are inappropriate to the whole situation.

It means someone actually put thought into their answer and backed it up with words. Mine are very long sometimes but every word is my own. I just get passionate some times. I love to share ideas. Words will then fall from my fingers without my even thinking about it.
