Visit the AKC web sight they have a breeder referal list. do not get from internet or pet store

Agree with aussie, go to akc.org for a breeder referral. You don't want to end up with a backyard breeder. My friend rescued a Bulldog who has the genetic form of mange as a result of poor breeding. It's not contagious to other dogs, but they will have to treat and manage this for his entire life time. A good breeder won't breed a dog with this disorder so as not to pass it on to the pups.

Contact breed rescue centers in your area. Bulldogs are prone to very bad health (hip dysplasia and poor breathing and shortened life span to name a few)
You should read up on this breed PRIOR to adopting so you know what you are getting yourself into.
I hope that you find a dog that is in need of a home.
