Jesus said "I would rather have you be hot or cold because the luke warm I spit out of my mouth" I think the Atheists are simply cold, where as I have seen some Christians who do not resemble Christians at all who I think are the ones he labeled luke warm. Do you agree?

First of all if you are a Christian then you are already saved so you won't get saved again. Second, God is there for everyone and there is no better chance for one than the other. It is evident that someone says they are an Atheist but the first person they call on when in need is God so I don't believe there are true Atheist, they are just non believers like the rest of America that don't believe. This comment you referred to is talking about Christians. God says he doesn't want a lukewarm Christian, he wants our all. We either live for him or live for the devil. You can't do both. As far as seeing Christians that don't act like Christians well that is everywhere and everyday and that is between them and The Lord. We are supposed to live a Godly life if we are Christians but that doesn't mean we don't make bad choices but God is there to pick us up and forgive us. If we were perfect, then we would have hung on that cross instead of Jesus and we didn't. Hope this helps!

What do you mean by the word "Christian" that is suppose to be someone who has already accepted Jesus as Savior. It means to be Christ-like. The verse you are referring to is found in Revelation 3:16, John is writing to the church, the Christians have gotten lazy in their work concerning the Lord. They are not excited any more nor are they uncaring, but lazy. The Lord wants them to be one way or another. The church is in the state of apostasy, they are abandoning their faith and not caring enough to let the non-Christians know how important the message of Christ is. The Lord wants you to be excited about your faith or just go away all together, because this sends a message to the non-Christian that Jesus dying on the cross and the whole message of salvation is just so-so, not really that important and the Lord can not tolerate this.

No and No, Christians are hot, Agnostics are warm and Atheist are cold. Christians and Atheists are people who know what the believe a Agnostic doesn't know what to believe. Christians and Atheists have made a choice, Agnostics decide not to choose and don't understand that they still have made a choice. Yes there are people who say they are Christian and are not but in the end it will be for God to decide.

First you're saying that you are able to not trust that some thing exists with none data, and then you're saying that no longer believing that there is a heaven is the "maximum pathetic" reason to no longer get into heaven. ??? i'm an atheist, and that i do not trust there's a heaven because there is not any data for its existence. My lack of idea stems rapidly from the shortcoming of empirical data. you need to take a second inspect your submit. that is contradictory and slightly confusing, basically because the Bible is. You examine with some atheists as "ignorant kinds." count number your self between them, because you communicate for your self. P.S. you are able to not ask a question like this and demand that Christians no longer examine with Biblical scripture. it is the source of their delusions.

Okay, you posted your cite, so I deleted prior answer that requested site. Thank you.

What you posted is one sentence out of a dictated letter. It's addressed to the church in Laodicea, so it is addressed ONLY to people who believe in God and Jesus. It addresses riches and poverty.

If one applies the whole paragraph to your words posted above, what you're saying is that you think Christians do not give enough of their money to the poor, and that atheists give none.

I can pretend to prove any point, no matter how absurd, by pulling one sentence out of the Bible. All that would prove is that I do not understand what I'm reading.

Here's the last sentence of the paragraph that you posted. "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches." May God bless you with an ear that is able to hear very soon.

I think a lot of atheists also subscribe to secular humanist ideas:

I don't know how you see hot and cold but I would not say cold. If that is a bible quote it is a pretty cool one; can you cite chapter & verse?

I likes me some context with quotes, so I can have a better idea about the hot and cold part.

Of course, those who do not understand sin or sinfullness should be less accountable than those who understand the concept. Ignorance doesn't save you in the eyes of the law but it does help with a sympathetic jury (think Jesus).

I think anyone who confesses Jesus is Lord and believe it in their hearts are saved.

P.S. I've read the verse, and what I have learned from being in Church is that you can't take on verse out of the Bible and go off that. You have to read the before and after. And if you had looked carefully you would of say that a Angel had said that. Next time don't just take a line of scripture out the Bible and try to interpret the meaning without studying the word for yourself.

Not being defensing I know that's your opinion and this is mine.

I don't think that we will be called upon to proclaim our religious affiliations in the end. I think that if there is judgement, our actions and motivations will be judged, not our choice of which church to contribute to. Yes, I think more Pagans and Athiests have a better chance of being saved than several Christians I know.

Peace!
