There cannot be pure and true friendship between a guy and a woman....

How can something like that be proved? I would have to say that it all depends on the people involved. I personally think the answer is as simple as that.
I am married and have 4 children, I just contacted a woman that was my high school sweetheart. She is also married and has 4 children. We have no intentions of getting together yet we are still very true and good friends. We E-Mail each other every three days or so just to say hi.
I know my feelings well and I can truly tell you that there is at least one case where a man and a woman share pure and true friendship and that is in my case.

Yes it can exist but eventually one will want to take it to the next higher level. The desire to escalate the roles exists as the motivation for the friendship from the very beginning.

I think guys can be just friends with girls. just look at my picture that's my friend putting me in a head lock. We are just friends.
