In mathematics (more specifically geometry), a semicircle is a two-dimensional geometric shape that forms half of a circle. Being half of a circle's 360°, the arc of a semicircle always measures 180°.

A semi-circle is simply a half circle. Draw a line the length of the size you want the semi-circle to be. Take a protractor, put it in the center of the line, and draw an arc from one end of the line to the other. That is your semi-circle.
