It is not a comparison between you and people who never had a chance to go to school. It is a comparison between you and others who had the same opportunities that you had. Who took advantage of their chance to improve themselves?

The real question is, what is the difference between you and other people who have been in the same school with you all those years? Do you know more or less than them? Do you have better English and Math skills than them? Do you have better work habits? Do you know more or less about the world and how it works, about science history and culture than them?

If you can't feel that your skills and knowledge are the equal of anyone else who graduates from the same school, then you have to look at yourself and ask why you wasted that opportunity!

Well, you know a lot more things for one. You can get a better job and you get the pride of knowing that you're smarter than someone. When you have kids, you can help them with their homework and you can make more money. going to school shows that you are ambitious and that you have plans for your future and also that you are more trustworthy.

They don't get as much money as you. And maybe not as much respect either.
