The Gilgamesh Epic
A Tale of Two Cities
War and Peace
Bulfinch's Mythology
In Cold Blood
To Kill A Mockingbird
Walden
Uncle Tom's Cabin

The Holy Quran ... on the top of the list .. reason:: no amendments , bible is modified from time to time and now have become more a story book than a holy one.

No, it's not. Maybe for you, but I found the bible to be a shallow narrative, badly written, with little to no characterization. Give me a good Neil Gaiman novel any time.

So anyway, my list. This is in mo particular order, mind.

The Lord of the Rings
Stranger in a Strange Land
Good Omens
American Gods
His Dark Materials
The Great Gatsby
Beowulf
The Discworld Series
Harry Potter
The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster

Who the Hell are you to decide the first one on my list should be the Bible? My list would include all the works of that great author Dr. Zoos.
