I'm dating this guy for about 5 months now, and on valentine's day he gave me a card that says something like he's looking forward to spend special moments wherever our journey takes us, will you be my valentine? I said yes, and what it means? Are we boyfriend girlfriend now? Should I ask him where we stand?

Ok... sounds like you two are a couple..... if it walks like a duck quacks like one well you get the picture .... of course you should re-evaluate your situation with him to be sure your both on the same page...... are you ready for a boyfriend? got any hangups you need to sort out before entering into a relationship? if your ready to go there with him and he's a willing partcipant then go ahead and do the dame thing! if you've been dating him for 5 months, i would assume that you are bf/gf. 5 months is a long time. i think that you should just ask him, but not in a weird way, just be like hey we've been dating for 5 months and i was just wondering if we are bf/gf. something like that.=] good luck.

You're still not sure after 5 months? Hmm...maybe you should practice some communication in this journey....where ever that may take you.....

If you are not sure where you stand with him...ask! if you have nothing then you have nothing to lose! and the worst he can say is that you are not together, but if you are not together then you can always be really good friends.

Holding hands?

Usually physical hints are more telling than verbal hints.

Being one's valentine's is so elementary school. I guess I'm more assertive.

Good luck!

If you are dating YES! You ARE BF and GF! Well, actually it depends on how he treats you. and on the situation but I say you are if you are dating! And he asked you to be his valentine!

i'd say ur already his gf if u've been with him for 5 months already! does he introduce you as his gf to his friends or have you met his family? if ur really clueless about where you stand, maybe you should just ask him.
