here's my favortie simple tuna salad recipe
4 (6 ounce) cans albacore tuna in water
1 cup finely minced celery

and for the dressing
3/4 cup mayonnaise (such as Hellman's Real Mayonnaise, and NOT the light variety)
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
3/4 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon salt

Place the tuna in a colander and drain well. Transfer the tuna to a medium-sized bowl and break it up with your fingers into flakes (please, use your fingers, not a knife, to finely shred the tuna. This gently flakes the tuna, instead of crushing it.) Stir in the celery.
Mix all the ingredients for the dressing in a small bowl. Spoon the dressing on top of the tuna and celery mixture. Gently stir in the dressing until all of the salad ingredients are well coated. Use in sandwiches or serve as a salad on crisp lettuce leaves.
Tightly cover and refrigerate any leftovers.

can of tuna drained
mayo
seasoning - i like celery salt
pickles, onion, celery (can be added if you like it, but chopped up pretty fine)

drain the tuna, open the can then use the lid to squeeze out the water/oil

with a fork, break up the tuna

add mayo (start small depending on how much you like - you can always add, you can't take away) and seasonings and any other add-ins

Presto - you have tuna salad! Good Luck

These are a few things I like to add to the tuna and Mayo. Hard boiled eggs, celery, bell pepper, onion, pickle relish and a dab of horseradish. Everything should be finely chopped. If you put the canned tuna in the fridge a few hours before making it you will be able to eat it right away.

my husband made a pasta tuna salad that was good

1 bag of rainbow pasta
2 small cans of tuna drained or not (your choice)
1 stalk of chopped celery
2 shredded carrots
1 large or 2 small zucchini diced
2 or 3 chopped green onions
1 medium tomato, chopped
if desired 1 fresh jalapeno & 1 fresh yellow chili chopped or just a little of each
mayo to desired taste & consistantcy
salt & pepper to taste

boil pasta acording to package directions, drain
while pasta is cooking you can mix every thing else together but the mayo after pasta is cooled you can mix everything with the pasta then add mayo & sometimes we like to add some italian dressing as well after that let rest for 5 minutes & serve

Husband's way: 2 cans of tuna in oil, drained; 1-2 blops of real mayo, 1 blop Dijon, 1 smaller blop of dill pickle relish, a teensy bit of minced garlic, S&P.

My way: 2 cans of tuna in water, drained; 1-2 blops of Miracle Whip, 1 blop of sweet pickle relish, a squeeze of lemon juice, S&P, and maybe some chopped celery or water chestnuts for crunch.
