At what age to girls normally start shaving their pubic hair?

I would never shave my pubic hair. You can shave the legs to maintain the bikini area. And trim the rest. Or wax the whole thing, that is my preferred method. Shaving sets you up for ingrown hairs and it will itch like crazy growing in. Once a woman is sexually active she might want to consider some sort of maintenance. Young girls don't need to worry about that.

Depends, but is about 13 to 15. It depends on when they start growing it, how much they get, and how often they want to go to the beach or the pool in a bikini. Using very small bikinis will always require a shave, many times a full shave. Of course, a teenager is usually not allowed in her house to wear those, but many still buy them and hide them.

As they grow older, they will probably shave more and even all of it, depends on the person, and also depends on whom they start dating, and having sex with. We guys (and some girls) usually don’t like to “Tarzan” in the jungle when giving kisses if you know what I mean.

I know some girls that they were shaving since we all were on middle school. So go figure. But what triggers the real shaving is when they start looking at themselves in the mirror, and trying to make themselves sexy. Others just don’t like to shave so they leave it as it is.

BTW, those who said that the shaving there is for porno stars, or said that it is not normal to shave; you really need to go out there to the real world and have some reality check done!!

If only porno stars do that, then more than half of the female population is in the porno industry. LOL. Shut down your PC and go out there, is good to see real women from time to time.

American girls start shaving pubic hair at 12 or 13. It's not something every American girl does, but most of them do. All of the people that say it's strange for women to remove their body hair are right. It is strange if you live in France. Some of the women in France still have big, fluffy armpit hair because they think that's sexy. Most American women don't think body hair is very sexy.

It depends on the girl and when they start feeling uncomfortable with the amount of hair they have. Not all girls do it but many do. Some say it is cleaner for them others do it because of bikinis, or their partner likes it that way. It probably starts in early teens. But to warn you the first time you do it may be very uncomfortable as it may be itchy and just feel very different. It might take time to get used to it but if you do it regularly you should be okay.
