If someone grabs my g/f *** why cant i punch him?

I know that we live in a society but somethings need to be dealt with without the law. So if so strange guy grabs my g/f *** and i punch him am i in the wrong?

you should man... I mean you if you get arrested so what at least you did it for your girlfriend
