I don't think so. Ask a doctor. :)

The estrogen in birth control may impact your body's ability to clot blood. So the question she asked is a pretty good question. Since the tattoo won't be puncturing your skin very deeply, it should be alright. But keep an eye on the wound.

For all the piercings and tattoos I have gotten while on birth control I have never had a problem. If you are REALLY that concerned, talk to your doctor and the tattoo artist, but I promise you have nothing to worry about- the pill will still work full force.

No getting a tatoo has absolutely nothing to do with the effectivness of your birth control. I had a tattoo done while I was on the Birth Control Pill(BCP) and there was no problems whatsoever. You'll be fine.
Hope this helps and good luck!

Not at all. The only things that affects birth control pills are antibiotics, herbal supplements, and not taking them properly.

You'll be absolutely fine.

The only other thing is that some women do find it more painful to get a tattoo during PMS and/or period time.

Great combination! It should not effect it. Now some ugly tattoos can be a form of birth control.

i don't see how it could change anything... the tattoo is just pigment in your skin, there wouldn't be any sort of chemicals or hormones in it. my tattoos didn't affect my birth control at all.

Get your face tattooed up like a skull ....black circles around the eyes....tip of the nose black.....teeth tattooed over your lips......You won't need birth control then....
