I'd rather live a moderate life to the fullest and worry about heaven and hell when and if that bridge ever comes.

The problem with this question is that it is already one-sided yes you have a life of pleasure in both instances you deal with the same stuff just under different titles of understanding in other words when you stub your toe the other jams a finger the second thing is hell is only the beginning of the torch-er after the second coming there is a place worse than hell that will be the home of the ungodly and this will be set for all eternity. Heaven could never be boring and you can also understand that the pleasures of this world pale in comparison with the things that God has yet to create and has already created for us it's up to us to discover what these are so you choose hell or heaven with an eternity of pleasure the likes of which we cant even comprehend yet. Their are robots in the Bible you know.

Heaven.

Life here is only about 100 years, if you're lucky. Only 40 to 60 of which you can live the 'worldly pleasures'.

The afterlife is forever, so I'd rather be in Heaven forever.

Though this question is slightly mute. I can have a fulfilling life full of joy and pleasure and still go to heaven.

Boring and Worthless????

Christians don't have to live boring lives, nor is any life worthless. For me I'd like to live a life marked by love, peace, hope, faith, and joy. And to be honest that does not = boring or worthless in anyway. A life marked by love is a bit reckless, one who loves to the full will be marked by courage and thus will be willing to do things others only dream of. One who has peace knows that this life is not all they have to look forward to and yet they rest assured that if they stumble a mighty hand will lift them from the dust. One with hope keeps walking, even when the going isn't so easy, because they know that there is one worth both living and even dieing for. Faith is believing in the unseen, things like love, the wind, hope, and God. We may not see such things but we can often see and feel their effects. And a person who is filled with joy, sees the world through the eyes of a child there is a innocence to living a life marked by joy and at the same time one must be like a warrior to protect their joy from being demolished by circumstances. This life is not boring or worthless. Seek the full and abundant life...
***Ps one does not truly live untill they are following someone whom they would be willing to die for. God bless.

What makes you think your life would be boring and meaningless if you chose a path in life that ultimately leads you to Everlasting Paradise...Key Word Here EVERLASTING!
I would rather lead a good short (compared to everlasting paradise) faithful, fearful life here, than a long hurtful, agonising eternity in Hell.
What is your definition of pleasure and happiness? Obviously extremely hurtful and sinful things.
I am EXTREMELY HAPPY and Content with my life, and I am very religious. No booze, or sinful pleasures can deter me from the path of Righteousness!

Living a life that leads to Heaven is anything but boring.
It is full of pleasure and happiness. That is a common misconception people have- I used to think that way. I was so shocked how fun being a Christian is. It is awesome, the people are awesome. Just go to a Kevin Leman conference once. Its a lot more fun to lie inthe glory of God. God is awesome. AWESOME.

Assuming Heaven and Hell existed, I would definitely choose the boring life and then go to Heaven. Eternity >>>>> our lifespans on Earth.

However, so far I have little reason to believe that Heaven or Hell actually exist.

I'm sorry if your mind is as undeveloped as that, but you should try to see things better. The problem here is that your ideas of what is good and pleasant are twisted. If you could just know how it feels to be complete with The Creator living in yourself, you'd never ask that question again. Do you really think heaven and hell are what people think they are?

Dear alien,

Life here = at most around 100 years

Life in heaven = a billion billion years

Hell = Torment
Heaven = Joy and peace

Kinda makes the choice easy, doesn't it?

god bless
