Specifically the ones where the Jews, Christians and Muslims all want the same thing or etc.
I would...
Threaten to nuke the "holy land" off the face of the planet to radioactive debris UNLESS the various religions in the world can put on their big boy pants and share the piece of land.

Duh, my solution is incredibly childish. A childish solution to end a childish argument sounds fitting to me haha.

if Jesus could do THAT, why didn't he do that 2000 years ago and save us from pain and misery?

It may be better to locate the common denominator that binds them all together. Perhaps then, the solution will become obvious.

I've thought about bombing that big stretch of sand until it was all smooth, flat glass on many occasions.
Okay, not really, the vast majority of people there want these conflicts as much as you and I.
The problem with threatening the Holy Land with destruction is that it is so important to all of those religions. Not only to the people in the area, but around the world. If the US were to threaten to flatten it, almost every one of it's own citizens would protest, some very violently. And virtually every other country in the world would threaten to retaliate.
It's not just a matter of coercing the leaders in the Middle East to cooperate. It seems there are no easy answers for the problem.

Obviously, we cannot nuke anyone. Nuclear bomb not only destroys innocent people and innocent creatures (as well as lingering death and the destruction of many billions in properties), it also poisons the atmosphere for the whole world. We are also talking about possibly triggering a nuclear war that could result in serious destruction world over if not total.
When our human intelligence is challenged we sometimes forget the value of playing by the rules. We need to take whatever time we can to work on our understanding of what is common to all faiths. What is essential to all faiths is godly virtues and our love relationship with God. That is the simple big two. We can use these two truths to rate our other religious activities.

I think people in that environment may actually have been bred for violence.
I know that this is kind of an extreme statement, and I don't know that I actually believe it- but think about it-
after all of this time, you don't think that pacifist genes would have been more or less killed off by now?
So, yes, bomb the place- but don't nuke it, or there will be worse consequences in terms of weather and illness all over the world.
And after 6,000 years, I don't think there's any threats that will make these people share.
Neither does someone I know from that area. Two, come to think of it.

Illogical... the conflict is not about the land, it is about ideology. The land does play a role only because of ideology, as it is holy... set asside by God for Israel. If the Holy Land was nuked therefore, believers on all sides would continue to disagree on the ideological issues... I don't think you would solve anything (you would only pollute the world with nuclear radiation).

1. don't believe "we" were asked our opinion on settling the issue
2. eventually the problem will be solved when one side runs out
of pieces (soldiers) to play the game or,
3. one of the sides will nuke the place and everyone loses or,
4. preferrably, all sides will sit down at a round table and settle the
issue, I would hope to the satisfaction of all
5. don't really think much of your solution

The only real solution, is the return of Christ. The next best "solution" is Christian control of Jerusalem. Let the Jews have the pre 1967 borders of Israel MINUS Jerusalem. Of course the Jews and Arabs could still live there, but only under an extremely heavy occupation of Christian soldiers. Give the Golan Heights back to Syria. The West Bank goes back to the Arabs.

Well said man!! I was raised Jewish and have visited Israel which is such a wonderful place. (Iam agnostic now) But seriously...it is enough already. Share the land or throw away all of the history? Make a choice and stop killing eachother cause it just don't make sense!

Unfortunately, many zealots would rather die than give in to another religion in any way, so they'll probally choose bombs over cooperation (zealots already have, and innocents suffer from this actually)
But be sensible, use conventional carpet bombing. dont nuke it, we dont want all that radiation in the atmoshpere.
