Yet you run screaming when asked about blind cave fish and other animals who no longer need their eyes. Blind cave fish have ocular orbits and nerve endings that still reach there, yet they have evolved other ways to get around in the dark. Creationism cannot explain this. (well it can't adequately explain life either but that's another subject)
Bats have evolved a method of echolocation and use their eyes infrequently as they have little need for them. You'd think that an omnipotent creator would either see this (If you'll pardon the pun) or forsee it and just give them both eyes and echolocation.
Right?

Well said laptop.
The human body has MANY flaws. We are the only primates that get hemroids because of our bipedal gait. And take a look and see how many people wear corrective lenses...
Yes, sometimes evolution doesn't give us the best traits.

Wayne.
Have you EVER taken a biology course? Clearly you have NO clue.

Missy,
Yes, fish and bats are not human beings. And water is wet and fire is hot.
Care to point out more inane facts that have NO bearing on the subject?
Honestly, is obfuscation and subject changing the ONLY thing you people know?

I read an interesting article about the human eye being more proof for evolution due to it's poor design. The nerve right in the back gives us a "blind spot" that many creatures don't have. If our eye had been designed like an eagles we wouldn't have that blind spot and we wouldn't have such failings as near-signtedness, far-signtedness and astigmatism as often.

Maybe I'm not completely getting your question. The omnipotent creator made animals as a pleasure for us humans. You've obviously studied them and found these creatures interesting - that was God's point.
We have 5 balanced senses to help us live. Is it not true if you were to take even one of these senses away, one would say that that person couldn't be living "a full life".? They wouldn't be getting the full experience of life as others may see it. If someone was born blind, they wouldn't be able to do many things as easily as the rest of us do(and take for granted) - however, over time, their other senses become somewhat over-developed to compensate. To help them live. Do you think that's evolution in action? or just learning to adapt to circumstances?
Your last paragraph confuses me...bats have both eyes and "echolocation" and you ask why God didn't just give them both - they already have both. Maybe they don't use their eyes that much, but I'm sure they are useful in some way to these animals.

Well, i for one am glad we have eyes and can see in beautiful colors. Even the simplest cameras have to be designed and made by someone. Even if the parts just happened to appear out of nowhere , they'd still have to be assembled by an intelligence. Just cause there's blind fish doesn't prove anything to me, cause many animals live far deep in the ocean where no sun can shine or in caves. The fact that animals and people can adjust to their situations is remarkable of itself.
The comment about our bad eyesight is a point of interest. No other animal needs special treatment as much as the human organism. Our eyes and hearing get bad, we have many defects, and with each generation it's getting worse , not better. Autism and mental disorders are becoming common. Evolution can't explain this , but the sin and continual distance from perfection does.

Look at how much damage man has done to this earth sense being here. There is a very good possibility that all of these "new" creatures are a product of our mistakes throughout the centuries. Before you jump the gun and try to disprove GOD, you should do a little more research on the matter. If the only information you have is from another source, then you are a fool. Find out all information that is told for yourself. Thank you and GOD bless.

Fish and bats are not human beings. Being "cold as a fish and as blind as a bat"' is figurative speech and not intended as true human attributes.

An obvious fact that has absolute bearing on the subject at hand is that you are an over-preening little prick with not much interesting subject matter in your question. You are not very original in your ideas or posts as this question has been asked in various forms over and over. You are boring.

You have a study on hemorrhoids?
Must be great lavatory reading.

The human body has flaws depending on situations. Stating the flaws as an excuse for evolution is well, stretching.

All life forms have flaws.
All life forms have strengths.

A great man once said it is relative to the observer.

Its sad isn't it though?

No argument based on reason and logic will ever convince a creationist.

Laptop's right in that biological imperfections are as good a proof of evolution as the argument from 'perfection' which I suppose is really something only religious people use.

I seem to be missing your point.
You claim the eye is not proof of God yet you say the lack of eye use is adequate to dispel creationism.
Bad argument.

For your reasoning why do penguins stay in the freezing cold?
If evolution were "fact" beyond doubt, wouldn't they have moved to warmer climates?

Kind of a mute situation.

There is no point other than derogatory commenting.
Sorry, you have credibility.

What's the point, really? I don't understand what you mean with this question. I mean, believe in a god who wouldn't be able to create creatures without eyes would be really an idiotic idea. My God is above all that, He created heaven and Earth, and all that's in them, no matter if they have eyes or not, even you, who seem to be unable to see that clearly.

Christians don't have all the answers about God or His creations.

Maybe you can ask Him on Judgment day.
