My dear Indian Christian just find out how you become Christian , there will be two reasons one is your father may be a Hindu and married to a Christian lady and she might have compelled him to convert into Christianity and poor fellow for the sake of sex he might have converted into Christianity and others may have converted by getting lackhs of money to fulfil their need or for the sake of living rich or to become rich fast . This is a fact and all Indian know about this . I’m proud of Muslims that whatever sorrow they attain they will not converted to any other cast .I’ thank one person for reminding me about mother Theresa and making me understand that she made all her help to the poor only for the sake of conversion , don’t you feel that there is some kind of selfishness in that

Religious conversion is a foul play. This is funny people of one religion, somehow enforcing people of other religion to join them saying that it is the best religion (who teaches one to enforce others for nothing). They will target weak point of a person to get him converted. is taht ethical, to play dirty politics for religious conversions.

And to all people out there who claim christians believe in charity - Charity makes no sense if you are demanding something against it. Charity means a selfless donation.

It's only the Hindu culture which never enforces any individual to give up his religion. If one wants to be a hindu simply be a hindu on your own will - no enforcements. While christians and muslims believe in conversions.

Since you said you are proud of muslims as they never budge from their religion, let me tell you taht they are also among the foul players.

About Mother Theresa - She gave selfless charity to the needy. her service was never favoured conversion. Yo uhave a wrong impression about her. gather some more knowledge about her services. Why do you think a lady from a different country reside in an unknown country?

:-)

If the history of the spread of Christianity is studied, it did spread, when there was subjugation, famine, colonialism, catastrophy; when a person like a King (Constantine) accepted the Faith on own terms of Creed and Kerygma, and the then Bishops compromised. The present day Bishops create subjugation etc with a plomb so that some converts are found. Such has been the history, mostly. Ofcourse there are and were 'good' christians who know Christ the Mystic, his mysteries and his Message. Such are a very minority group. Such as the Unitarians. Seldom heard. Seldom accepted. Often persecuted, by fellow Christians. Christanity is no longer one religion. It is the sum total of hundreds. The missions find more converts from other christian groups than from other Faiths, like Islam and Hinduism. I apologise if this answer may have hurt. It was not intended.

You are partly right. Among christianity there are sects which offer more help. I was by birth a protestant, my father became an SDA because they were giving free education, food, hostel, uniform everything. My father did not had to pay anything. It was known as Christian Children Fund. This existed between 1968 till around 1980. Then due to some reason it was scrapped. They gave free education to thousands of children at that time. Most of the funds came from UK, USA.

All that apart, you cannot compare the charity and the selflessness of the christian nuns, christian hospitals. Even paid top hospitals will not take care of you like the christian hospitals do.

I think bringing muslims into this is wrong. I do not know of any charity or anything of that kind in muslims. They do help but only the muslims.

I will show you hundreds of muslims coming to church during the marys feast, infant jesus feast, to velankanni.

I will also show you muslims coming to temples.

Before you ask any questions, research properly

After reading the first part of your statement, the fact comes out that HINDUISM only is the most LIBERAL of all religions--you have ended up giving it a back-handed pat.
Regarding Muslims, what you have said is true but incomplete since what would you say about them forcibly converting people down the ages? It might have been Ok with the uncouth Arabs of that era but why extend it to other civilised cultures of that era and even NOW?
Regarding Mother Theresa too you have been wrongly told. No doubt she was a devout Christian and working for the cause but tell me which person belonging to any religion would stoop down to help people in the state not only beyond all religions but even beyond the lowest of human existence.
My dear friend ALL RELIGIONS basically preach for the brotherhood of Man and some of the customs which look odd today were very much relevant then.
It is only the Biased and Vested interpretations of some of the Over-Enthusiastic, Religious Bigots which has succeeded in Dividing the World on Religious Lines.

One shud always remember that when u take the view of a religion it shud NOT be from PEOPLE .I mean just by lookin at any muslim man and woman u cannot judge Islam! If u really wanna judge it by a person then why dont u take the example of Prophet Muhammed (peace n blessings of God be upon Him)? Why dont u see His life history? If u do then u can find out how a real muslim is supposed to be.
I agree that there r comparitively very few muslims that follow correct Islam but that doesnt mean that there are none.I was just goin throu the given answers to this question and i found that one person had written that he/she thought Islam was gud but went to some muslim areas but found that it was not.It is not the truth.
To really judge whether Islam is a gud religion or not y dont u read an english version of the Holy Quran?U will find ur answer there. But make sure that u take a very authentic translation coz the enemies of Islam try to degrade it by making copies that have wrong meanings.
By the way the biggest difference between islam and Christianity is that they believe that Jesus(Peace be upon him) is god and muslime believe that Jesus(p.b.u.h) was a Messenger sent down by the God.In fact no muslim is a muslim until he believes this!
One more important point is that Islam is the fastest spreading religion in the world despite the fact that many are involved in degrading it.Y? Why are people accepting Islam so readily if it was so bad as they pose it? There's the question. In fact most of the convertees are from America. It is b'coz Islam offers the correct way of life and those who study it know that too.For eg: everyone knows about the Hijab(the dress code of a muslim girl commonly known as "Burkha" or "Abaya") and many think that it oppresses a woman's rights etc.....but they do not understand its real meaning. If u have an extremely precious thing then how safe will u keep it?Obviously, you will keep it inside somewhere safe and take it out seldom to admire it.Similarly, muslim girls are like concealed jewels.Their beauty is not at sale for everyone to look and have a share. They r protected. They r dignified not oppressed. and those who know its true meaning (whether a muslim or not) will know its worth and those who dont will see it as a burden and will not like it.It all depends on how u take it.
But please make sure that anyone wanting to judge a religion shud judge it by readind its authentic sources of books and not by lookin at the people.Afterall,I have yet to find a person who follows his religion truely and sincerely.

First lets clear up your misconception that you become a christina by birth into a christian family, or because your parents or nation is christian. You are only a christian by accepting Christ as your personal savior and asking him into your heart and adking his forgiveness.

Next- Mother Theresa gave her life over to serving God. She helped countless numbers of people. She was not selfish. She was wanting to give the people the gift of eternal life.

Yet another ridiculous idea. The Hindu system keeps people in poverty and low social status. Christians don't offer a way to get rich quick. They offer a view that tells people they are not born into a caste, but can be treated equally and can find other ways to make money other than just sweeping street. What is the selfishness in that.

Hi,

Ofcourse truth lies in your sentence. Everything depends on human mentality. The religion and caste are there like a shirt to people where they are not realinsing the importance instead they are changing everything. The religion is there to make people discipline.
But coversion of religion depends on the peoples mind. But if they the religion also the inborne religious effect ll not be changed in them.
