But there isn't.
So the whole idea of worshipping an imaginary sky pixie is an utter waste of time.

no because I don't think that is why he/she made us. We are not here to worship anyone but the ground we are living on. Why make humans if all they are there for is to worship at the creators feet, thats what servants do (they make people that do that) you don't see drawings worshiping their artist. We are created to live our life as a test for survival.

If it demanded that I worship it, then yeah I probably would. No reason to risk being smitten by divine lightning and then burning in Hell for eternity, is there? Generally, if an omnipotent being tells you to do something, it's a good idea to do it.
But, as either there is not a God or God has not made its existence known with sufficient evidence, I don't plan to do any worshipping for the moment.

There is a God and I do "worship" the God, although I don't consider God to be a he or a she.

yes there is a God and yes i go to church just about every sunday and worship as best as i know how...and besides it doesnt matter if other people worship God its if YOU worship God.

Honestly? No. I would respect them, like anyone in their right mind would, but I wouldn't worship them, I've got far too much pride, I'm afraid. ^^;
