Your question implies that you are somehow the superior 'adult' over these two groups of people. Adults are also looked up to by the children: that is how they are able to get away with confiscating the toy, because they have authority. I don't think the people fighting over the Dome of the Rock are exactly going to accept that you have the authority to tell them what to do.

I have no idea what dome of rock you are speaking of. If you are referring to what's going on in the middle east, well then you need to read the Holy Bible. This will explain everything you need to know. Why the fighting started and why it still continues today. There will be no peace until Jesus returns to this earth with GOD. Thank you and GOD bless.

Actually I have encountered this and told them to work it out between themselves - and they did! Unfortunately this has not worked for the dome.
