depends... there aren't any bears in the south of texas...
there aren't any bears in south america... south africa... southern europe... southern asia... heck... why is it you gave the clue as SOUTH???

White fur with black skin, because it has to be a polar bear. The only way to build a house with all walls facing south is to build a round house directly on the north pole.
But do you build on the geographic north pole or the magnetic north pole? Either way, the only bear you will see is a polar bear.

in order for all the walls to face south, the man must have built the house in the north pole, so the bear must be a polar bear!!!!

I'm sure you are looking for the answer to be "white" because we should assume that it is a Polar Bear. However, this may not be an accurate answer.
