there's a guy that my friend really really likes, and he seems to be wear ever we are so i asked him one time when she wasn't around if he liked her and he said no, and so i asked her if he thought she was hot and he said no. and that he doesn't even know her. and some one told her that they sawme and him talking and she asked me what i said..so i told her aht he said that she was "sexy"..cuz his friend said she was(ha ha)..now she's all happy and wan'ts to start hanging out and talking to him, but if she does i'm afraid he'll tell her (he's a jurk) what should i do...

A good friend wouldn't lie and even though the truth hurts its better to be told. I know you are a good friend or you wouldn't feel as you do and I know your intentions are to protect your friends feelings yet you need to be honest with her and just tell her what you told us. Tell her you are sorry and that you didn't want to see her unhappy.. Tell her that she deserves someone that likes her in return..
It just might be possible that he likes you and that's why he is hanging around you both.. But to respect your friend don't got into that territory........

Your friend is probably going to be hurt if you tell her the truth. Don't ruin your friendship for a guy you don't know. Just do like normal girls do and point out every single flaw the guys has and your friend will lose interest.

when you lie to a friend about something like this you cause all kinds of problems , just tell her the truth so she's not hanging all over a guy who has no interest in her . better she finds out from you then someone else that you lied ...

Telling her is the best thing that you can do. She will be more upset and embarrased if she goes up to him and he rejects her. Tell her you didn't mean to lie to her but that you were just too scared to tell her the truth. She will be angry but she will come around. Tell her that she means more to you than she can imagine and that this guy just doesn't know how great of a person she is.

hear this! friends are a hard to come by associates you can have many. be honest and caring to a friends needs and feelings, because someone may see you as a true friend, and you would want the same thing.

I think it was silly to tell her that. You should have told her he wasnt interested but his friend may be! You have to tell her so she doesn't make a fool of herself. He would assume you told her what he said and he will think she is dumb for not getting the point.
