Did you know NASCAR is the biggest spectator sports in America?

Anyway, I watch it every year and will watch it this year as well. I am just curious you said "95% of the people that attend a race like that are just there to see the crashes just like going to a drag race every 1 is there for the big boomers." I am curious, where exactly did you get your facts? The answer to that is you made them up b/c they are extremely false. MOST ppl watch and go to see the RACE b/c they love the sport. Wanting to see crashes means you like seeing ppl get hurt if you ask me, which makes you cold hearted and a waste of time. Thats my personal opinion. But that's all i'm going to say, your existance on a board of a sport you obviously don't like to start trouble is pure immaturity proven by yourself. Please have a wonderful day Sir, as we plan to do the same.

I don't watch the 500 (or any other race for that matter) for the crashes, I watch for the thrill of the race, the strategy used, the intensity, just everything about it. I couldn't wait for the Bud shootout just to get my racin fix.. now tonight I'll get another one with the trucks, actually they're on right now, I've got it recording for a bit so I can skip thru the commercials later on.... Just a little bit longer, if I can hold out.... I hate commercials. Nothing like being at the track tho, feeling those cars rumbling around the track, smelling the rubber and exhaust, hearing the engines screaming.... tires squeeling.... oh baby!!!

I am going to watch it. I love racing so much. I get to watch it with my boyfriend. He loves racing too. I like the crash but I like the rest of the racing too. I also tape it so I can watch the race to see the things I miss. I like everything about racing. I don't just watch it for the crashes.

I'll be watching The 500. I watch for many reasons. It's fast-paced high energy excitement. The cars go 180 to 190 mphs.
"The Big One" ....refering to wreck. I'm hoping Dale Jr will finish strong or even better, win the race.

As much as I enjoy watching the "Big One," it is not the main reason that I will watch the Daytona 500, or any race. I watch NASCAR, because I like NASCAR

What else is left. The drivers aren't allowed to do anything but go round and round. If Nascar had their way, I'm sure they would give each team a remote control and do away with drivers all together.

I've waited 3 months for racing to be on again. I can't wait. I actually listened to the 125's yesterday at my desk and my coworkers thought I had lost my mind. Whatever, GO JUNIOR....

I will be watching but not just for the crashes. I will be watching and listening to Trackpass to cheer on my driver and hope he does well.
