SERIOUSLY. I'm really tired of all these stupid arguments about how this certain piece of land belongs to one group while another groups says the exact same thing. Ever heard of sharing? According to professional child psychologists, children by the age of SEVEN on average understand this concept.
So what gives?!

I know I'm gonna get a lot of reports and "BLASPHEMY!!!" comments on what I'm about to say, but if it were up to me...
I'd threaten everybody in the world to nuke that place off the face of the Earth unless the various Religions can learn to get along.

If someone came in and took your house away, and then someone else suggested you share it, what would you say?

Christians and Jews can. After all, Jerusalem is the holiest city in the Christian faith too, and you don't see Christians calling for the downfall of Israel.
I think the whole problem comes from the Muslim sensitivity to anything non-Muslim. They get really upset at people making jokes or not properly respecting them.
I think that we could all just get along, if everyone would understand that it's no big deal if others don't believe the same thing. However, Muslims are warring with other Muslims over whether some nephew of Muhammad should be rightfully revered. If they can't respect their own denominations, then how can they be expected to respect other religions altogether. (by "they" I mean a lot of Muslims, not all Muslims).

Hopefully some day that will happen. In the current poltical environment, it can't.
I will say this...under Israeli rule all groups have ACCESS to that strip.
Under Islamic rule....that wasn't the case.

You need to read the Holy Bible to understand why the "holy land" is such a sought after place. Thank you and GOD bless.

Its politics, greed and who is more "right". Children often get into fist fights over who is more right and what is rightfully "theirs" then the other group and alot times this behavior continues way into adulthood.

I think they just can't stand the idea of anyone else being allowed to have it. Each group wants to have total control over it and exclude anyone who isn't them.
