I feel that I can be superwomen and I can take care of myself and that I dont need a man because all they do is cause problems. Im independent and feel that I can take on everything by myself w/o the help of a male companion.

BUT
Part of being in a relationship is helping the other person feel needed and wanted. Men really like to think they can take care of us a little, even when we are independent. I lived by myself for years, but now that I am married I on purpose ask my husband if he will fix something for me or reach something up high for me. He loves to do it.
We all cause problems sometimes. Sounds like you really got burned at some point. Of course you don't need a man, and some people are really happy that way- sometimes for a length of time, sometimes forever. You will know for yourself.

just because you CAN do everything by yourself doesnt mean you should have to. If you are happy by yourself then kudos to you, it takes a lot of women a long time to get to that point (some never do, and some only feel secure if they have a man in their life), i think its great that you do not feel that you need a man to validate you . Yes, you can do everything by yourself but it is human nature to desire companionship at some point in time, there are certain emotions and feelings that may be a necessary element of human development that may only come from the opposite sex. The key is to enjoy yourself, live your life without NEEDING anybody else but not closed off to the idea of having other people in your life, there are some (not many) out there who will actually add to your quality of life rather than take away from it and will appreciate your independence. But dont do what so many women who feel they can take care of everything do, they find a man and start taking care of everything for him too and the men become lazy and the women become resentful.

Everyone should be self sufficient in this day in age, you shouldn’t have to rely on someone else’s income to live, if you do it causes a lot of trouble for you.
I should know, I kicked a few girls to the curb that were living off me when they had no place else to go. But I dont put up with freeloaders, expecially ones that dont respect me after working 16 hours straight.

By the way the comment the guy above gave .....lesbians can do it without a man...so true!
but in really you dont need anybody to depend on its always better to do it yourself it makes you feel good knowing you didnt need anybody's help to gain what you have accomplished in life...

Yes they sure can. They can even please themselves more and not have to sleep around. I never could rely on a guy at all and so I grew to be independent. I won't act like that helpless person to get a guy.
