You should eat things that improve your cardiovascular health to improve your brain health. I've studied for a long time how to improve my child's brain health due to epilepsy and autism. It's the nourishment that gets to the brain that is everything. If the veins are crapped out, the brain won't get the optimal nutrition. Support your heart health...eat lots of spinach and other things with folic acid. Eat foods with zinc.

foods with high levels of fatty acids, specifically omega-3 oils, like fish, free range eggs, free range meats (poultry and beef), wild meats (venison and buffalo (bison)). Lots of protein, foods with zinc, calcium, potassium and vitamins A, B complexes, C and D.

Without the fatty acids, your brain doesn't develop properly when you are a child, and isn't maintained properly as an adult. Without the protein as a child, the brain doesn't develop properly, and isn't maintained as an adult. Without the correct minerals, the same occurs. Without the correct vitamins, ditto.

Our brains developed so big, because we had sources of proteins we no longer use. We used to eat a lot of Insects, which are high in minerals, fatty acids and proteins. Now to make up for it we either eat meat, or specific vegetarian diets our ancestors didn't have access to.

I used to know the answer to that... but... sorry... I can't remember what it was.

Seriously, NEVER and I do mean NEVER stop learning. The more you exercise your mind the better your memory will become... or at least... it won't get any worse.

Low cholesterol foods are good: lean meat, nuts, fruit, vegetables. The main thing is to exercise your mind: do crossword puzzles, math problems, learn a foreign language and read.
