I am in that relationship right now. After 4 years of being together and livng together. We've both relized that we aren't soulmates like we thought we were and we don't have that fire passion that you have when you are soulmates but we are good friends and about to end it.

So, you guys believe in the so called "soulmates" huh? Well, I could only say that true love has nothing to do with the soulmates stuff but it's just what you feel for that person. And it seems like you just lived and been together for 4 years but honestly you didn't love one another. But it's good that you're good friends. And yeah, better to end it. :)

The only way you can find a "soul mate" or "true love" is to find someone you can see yourself spending the rest of your life with. And it requires that BOTH people in the relationship try hard to keep the passion and romance alive so it doesnt burn out.
True love and soul mates takes effort, if you dont put effort into it you will never have it. And it doesnt just come along down the road, its not easy. Its something you have to learn. It isnt destiny

i've been in a relationship where i realized i wasnt in love with him as juch as i thought but he thought [even for 5 months after the breakup] that he was truely in love with me. its a rather sad situation. i'm sorry.
