Sounds like a hardware problem - your graphics card may not be good enough to support the game you are playing

If the entire screen is turning blue, most likely a video card problem, could be either software or hardware. First i would try installing a different driver. If no luck there you can switch to the integrated video if your computer has it, although that may prevent you from playing most of your games at all.

That could be a driver issue...it's hard to say without knowing the exact error you are receiving. Make sure your video card drivers are updated.
