Kerry...the point is that for the most part people adopt the religion of their parents and homeland. Easy, huh?

If any of us had been born in the Middle East, we'd most likely be Muslims. Now that's a scary thought, isn't it?

Absolutely NOT! Something inside of me made me spend seven long years searching for truth, despite what my parents believed, as I was unable to be satisfied with the hypocracy of religions that I saw all around me. I finally found 100% truth on the earth in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Christ has already returned to the earth to restore his lost gospel and people are accepting it all over the world and surprise, surprise to the Jews: Elijah has also already returned. So, I KNOW that if I had been born in the middle east to Islamic parents, I would NOT be a Muslim.

If I had been born in the middle east to parents I would be a child that was born in the Middle East according to the globe. According to history and chosen names of countries, culture, etc I would be considered a Muslin but bottom line a human being.

I bet I would be born into a muslim family. You are not born into believing. I do know that I would be called to God and would become a follower of God. As a follower of God I believe that I would pick up the Bible and read it. In doing so I would in up believing in Christ and thus becoming a Christian.
If only through this war we are in now- I personally like to form my own opinions about people and I would have read the Americans Bible to figure out what they are about. In that God would have opened my eyes and heart to him.
I forgot to say something huge- We can not limit what God can do. This question puts limits on God and thats just impossible.

That just depends on what I felt is correct. I was born to American Christian parents. But for a while I was agnostic. But I have since realized the truth and in doing so have made my own decision about where I should be. So I would like to say no I would not be Muslim if I was born to Muslim parents because hopefully I would realize the truth... the truth that God is Love and He sent his Son into this evil, sin-filled world to die for my sins and your sins. He died for everyone... even those who do not believe in Him. How awesome is that!!!!! God bless!!

I realize that being born in other countries besides America poses a problem, but there is nothing, religiously speaking, that keeps you from being a Christian if you want to be. You may have to leave your country to pursue it, but you can be a Christian if you want to be. If you would be willing to die for a god that does not exist, why would you not be willing to die for the real God of heaven who has already proven He loves you by sacrificing His own son and promising you a home in heaven if you obey Him?

Maybe, sometimes I wonder things like that - you know what if I were born in China, or the middle east? I don't think there's really any way for me to know the answer to that.

Possibly for a time. I was born to non-Christians though and I still was converted later. It is possible that I would never have found my way though. You might be right. I hope that you are able to become a Christian as I am. It allows me to know that others have found the TRUTH as I HAVE. OUR GOD is an AWESOME GOD!!
Thanks,
Eds

I am sure that God knows everything about everybody, since He is our creator. I am positive that he would have found me even in the depths of hell (God forbid!). I am certain that I would have been a Christian person, even when living among my brothers of the Islam.
I am not an American. I live in Romania.

Your statement is logical. Yet simple. But I am missing your point. You could also imply that is Middle Eastern children were born in a Christian country, that they would be Christian. Again, I am missing your point.
