Why do we get mucus in the stool if ...........?

we have meat or chicken..? is there any problem in the GI system..any home remedies for that...?

Mucus is formed in the colon to help pass fecal matter. Larger amounts of mucus can be an indication of disease such as colitis. If there is a great deal of mucus, it would be worthwhile to ask your doctor.
