I live about two miles from there. Not alot there mate to be honest. It has a beech and lots of night clubs etc and thats about it. Cleethorpes and Grimsby have become quite violent over the years with muggings, robberies, drugs etc. If you do go out at night (Afternoons is better as better class of peolpe then) and want a drink or two. Check out "Mucky Muldoons" bar...Nice people in there. When you get here, if you are on your own. Drop me an email and look me up. OK Cheers AM

You're coming from US and going to Cleethorpes !!! What a choice. Its typical cheap English seaside town. Tacky, Stuck in the 60s or 70s probably very wet when you go. General food is fish and chips. Lots of Arcades that smell of cigarettes and sweat ,but that's just my opinion.
Edit: not in Yorkshire

Commonly known as the *** hole of Britain, a rather dirty seaside town, not really a seaside though as the water round it is the Humber Estuary. Don't look for designer shops, there aren't any, best feature are the fish and chip shops. Beach has a lot of mud, and the sea, isn't anywhere near blue flag standard.

It's got a beach (that won some cleanest beach award.. somehow) and a pretty poor theme park... but some fun can be had with bowling and the cinema (next door to one another). It's not great, and you're coming when its cold, but have fun.
And it's not in Yorkshire...
