Where are Abraham, Issac, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, Ruth, David, Solomon, Elijah, Noah, Job, Aaron, Boaz, Eli, Samuel, Hosea, Amos, Elisha, Isaiah, Habakkuk, Daniel, and all the rest of the faithful Pre-Christ jews? I don't recall them expressing their belief in Christ.

Does this mean that maybe, just maybe, there ARE folks out there that God brings home that do not expressly place their faith in Christ?

The Jewish Faith believed and I think still do that when a person dies the went to a holding place known a Sheol you know it as the bosom of Abraham, until the day of Judgment. But when Christ died and those three days he descended to the dead he went to get the people you spoke of and took them to heaven with him. So now the only way to get to heaven is through Christ. You must confess your belief in Christ and really mean it and be baptized, confess your mortal sins before you partake in Mass and take Holy communion regular. Jesus said that you who do not eat of my flesh or drink my blood can not enter into heaven. So yes you must be a Christian and live as best as you can the way Christ asked us to.

They actually DID have faith in Christ. They may not have known Christ as we know Him, but they had faith in a Messiah, that would come to redeem the world. And they showed their faith by their works.

Just because you call yourself by a certain name, does not mean that you are any better than anyone else.

No one can be held responsible for something they were never revealed. Meaning those that you mention had no way of knowing about Jesus so how could they be held accountable.

So is there people alive that will go to heaven without knowing about Jesus, sure! Until then people will be judged on their character and moral status.

Does that make sense or does it cause more questions?

Jesus released those people from hades when He descended into the earth right after His death.

They trusted in the coming Messiah in the sacrificial times before Christ came.......therefore by faith they were saved.
For us....it is by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Well thought out, but, you overlooked one thing.
Jehovah chooses those of the 144,000 that will become kings and priests to work alongside Jesus when the Resurrection takes place. They are the heaven bound, but remember they do not remain in heaven. It is their lot to work among us who don't go.

John 1: 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2The same was in the beginning with God.

3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Jesus was the "Word" from the beginning of creation.
Jesus was with, and speaking to everyone of these old Prophets.
