Everynight, my cat likes to crawl under his arms and lick his armpit. Does she like his deodorant or what is going on?

It's fairly normal for a cat to do this.
Our cats would lick lotion off of us, perfume off of me, aftershave off my husband.
One even tried to lick Vicks vapor rub off my son's chest.
My Vet said it's not really a good idea to allow that kind of behavior to continue because there maybe something in these products that could make the cat sick.
So everytime one of our cats would try it we clapped our hands and said "NO" very loudly and firmly...they got the idea that they weren't supposed to do that and stopped.

Answer through the eyes of the cat: Ooh! Yummy smell! what kinda perfume r you wearing?! that deluightful scent is YOU?! if i could, i'd bottle you up, and sell you all over the world!!
Or, the non-producers-quoting version: I'm an emo cat!! my masters never pet me, and i can't even cut myself! i'll just eat some of this guy's deodorant and...
Or, last but not least: Hmm... This seems like the time i was licking that other cat that lives here..only it tastes like kitty treats....yummy...i think i'll make this a nightly ritual and see if i can get my own question on Yahoo! answers.

Cats do weird things. That's why we love them. My cat licks my armpit when I am sleeping and it's very annoying. I don't think there's a reason.
It's natural for them to groom themselves and their loved ones. If anything, it's a nice gesture. He likes your boyfriend.

Cats are natural groomers, anyway..My cat likes to lick lotion off my legs after a shower, but, its not good for them to do this, could be harmful..

My cat licks me right after I put lotion on, i think they must like the taste of it or something. Or maybe they are just nuts.
